Impentra Glass (“Impentra Glass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit [WEBSITE URL], contact us, request a quote, or use our services.
By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Who We Are
Our website address is: https://www.impentraglass.com
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you request a quote, contact us, schedule service, or communicate with us, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and mailing or service address
- Details about your project (property type, glass or window film needs, measurements, photos you choose to share)
- Any other information you include in a message, form, or conversation with us
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Your IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system
- Pages you view, links you click, and how you arrived at our site
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)
Phone and AI receptionist information. We use an automated virtual receptionist (“Kelly”) to answer and route calls, capture messages, and schedule appointments. When you call us, we may collect and process your phone number, the content of your call or message, and appointment details. Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality, scheduling, and record-keeping purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let us know or request to speak with a person directly.
2. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
3. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes and estimates
- Schedule, perform, and follow up on services
- Process payments and maintain business records
- Send appointment confirmations, service updates, and, where permitted, promotional messages
- Improve our website, services, and customer experience
- Measure and improve our advertising
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
5. Text Messaging
If you provide your phone number, you may receive text messages from us related to quotes, appointments, and service updates, and — where you have opted in — promotional offers. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of promotional texts will not affect transactional messages necessary to provide a service you requested.
6. Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
7. Analytics and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how our website is used and to deliver relevant advertising. This includes:
- Analytics to understand site traffic and performance
- Advertising and remarketing through platforms such as Google Ads and other advertising networks, which may show you our ads on other sites based on your visit to ours
- Conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising
You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of certain interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) or Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). You can also opt out of Google Analytics via Google’s browser add-on.
8. Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
9. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as our AI receptionist and scheduling platform, hosting, CRM, payment processing, analytics, and automated spam detection
- Advertising partners (such as Google and other ad networks) in connection with the advertising and measurement described in Section 7
- Professional advisors such as accountants, attorneys, and insurers
- Legal and safety purposes, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others
- In a business transfer, if Impentra Glass is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
10. How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
For quotes, service, and business records, we retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain warranty records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
11. What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
You may also:
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you
- Opt out of promotional emails (via the unsubscribe link) or texts (reply STOP)
- Ask us not to share your information for advertising purposes
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 16. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
12. Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
13. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, our website does not currently respond to them.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
